Time Heals

Life has been good for the last four years. Erik is in prison and unable to contact his ex-wife. Liam was back on his feet before he married Aurora and adopted Gavin. Aislynn and Trent are happy and have been able to make their long-distance relationship work.

Maybe the nightmare is finally over.

Aurora learns she is expecting another child. She and Liam are thrilled until they discover Erik still has a way to invade their lives.

The damage caused by Erik’s abuse could have disastrous effects on both Aurora and the baby. Despite Liam’s arguments, Aurora refuses to even consider terminating the pregnancy, even knowing it could kill her.

Out of the hospital and back on his one good foot, Gabe returns to Minnesota and his old lifestyle of one-night-stands. While not exactly happy, he is content until Rachel makes a sudden reappearance with a blonde-haired, green-eyed, three-year-old son.

For the first time in his life, Trent is truly happy. He has been clean for four years. He is finally off probation and he tries to convince his brother to move to Wisconsin so Trent can be closer to Aislynn. After the encounter with Rachel, Gabe reluctantly agrees to make the move as well.

After spending four years in prison, Erik has had a lot of time to stew over losing his wife and child. As his release date approaches, he is determined to get his life back.
