Meet the Characters: Erik
Erik is the resident bad boy.
Not the bad boy everyone loves, but a genuinely bad guy. I’m not even sure he deserves a dedicated page, yet here we are.
After losing his mother at a young age, his father starts to abuse him. Eventually, he was kicked out of his house at an early age, but that was fine with Erik. He bounced from place to place for a few years, usually staying with a girlfriend, which is how he ends up living with Rory.
Erik is abusive to Rory basically their entire relationship. He always feels bad and quickly apologizes for his actions, but he doesn’t change his behavior. When he is not physically abusive, he is cheating on her.
No matter what Erik does, Aurora just can’t seem to leave him. First, she feels that he needs her. He makes her feel that no one else would want her.
Once discovering she is pregnant, Rory can’t bear the thoughts of raising her child without a father. Even through all the abuse and infidelity, Rory remains faithful.
