A Whole New World
It seems like all of my books happen in trilogies.
Self Inflicted, Scars Fade, Time Heals.
Out on the Ice. One of the Guys. Dying to Fit In.
Each time I finish one, I struggle to leave the characters behind and start something new. I almost always find a way to tie in old characters to new stories. All of my books have been connected.
Until now.
I don’t have even a working title for this new book, but none of my old characters are part of it, at least at this time. However, I do already have a story building for book two in the trilogy.
This time I am completely starting from scratch. New settings. New characters. New issues. It’s always scary to be starting new, but I am also super excited. I can’t wait to incorporate wrestling with my writing, since that has become such a significant part of my life lately.
Landon is your typical king of high school. Rich. Popular. Gorgeous. Dating the most popular girl in school. He has everything.
Except real friends.
Charlotte has nothing. She grew up poor and she is unpopular and often the target of bullying by the popular kids at school. The only thing she really has is her best friend, Quinn, who also happens to be Landon’s sibling.
I can’t wait to get further into this story.
I can’t wait to see where this world takes me.
I just hope tax season doesn’t force me to put it on the back burner again, because I am on such an amazing roll, I don’t want to lose the momentum.
