Writing Update

One of the Guys is done and currently available for preorder on Amazon! It was one of the books that was harder to write, because I personally have no experience in coming out as transgender, and my own son wasn’t helpful (teenagers…), so I reached out to a really amazing support group that I am in. After listening to their stories, I hope I did it justice.

I do have a few ARCs available for anyone that wants to read and review the book before it comes out next month. Just contact me, and let me know you want details!

With all the behind-the-scenes work done in One of the Guys, I have found time to pick up a pen again. This time, instead of taking place in Wisconsin with the same group of characters I have come to love, this is in Cam’s hometown in Minnesota and follows Miles’s story.

For those that have read Out on the Ice, you might remember that Miles is a huge part of the reason Cam’s brother committed suicide. He’s not a good guy. I personally love these villain-turn-hero stories, and I am loving the way his character is developing in the aftermath of Tristan’s death. (Spoiler Alert, Miles and Tristan have more in common than he thought!)

I still have several Meet the Character posts to catch up on. The most recent I have posted is Jace, but I will definitely have Cam and Ethan before or shortly after their book is released, and I am working hard on Miles and Jeremy.

I even have the general idea of the NEXT book. After I finish Dying to Fit In, I am returning to Wisconsin to revisit Gavin, Jace, Ethan, Taylor, and Jared.

Choosing a Side will feature Taylor and Jared!

I have no idea when I will have time to get Dying to Fit in finished so I can even start on Choosing a Side, but I will get there. I just have to find the time on top of countless counseling and doctor visits, homeschooling a million children, and getting ready for tax season to start. Then, of course, tax season itself is a huge hit on my free time, but I will make it work!
