Writing Update

I wanted to have the first draft of On the Mats done by now, but I keep changing the ending.

I have an idea for the next book that keeps trying to grab my attention.

And my day job is killing me.

I have fourteen days until the end of tax season, and there will not be a day off in those last fourteen days. There will be two upper leadership visits in those fourteen days. Then the closing down of five of my six offices, and getting the sixth ready to be the only office in its area that will be open for the summer.

I also have a child that will be celebrating his thirteenth birthday in just ten days. And his birthday present was postponed until next month, so now I get to scramble to find something else in time.

And I still have to come up with a cover idea. And a book description. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate writing book descriptions?

And of course, I’m sick on top of everything else. This cough just won’t go away. And it’s painful. And I’m rambling, so I’m going to cut this short.
